Bryan Singer's 2003 sequel, released as X2 and marketed as X-Men 2 outside the United States, unites the X-Men with Magneto against William Stryker, the military scientist behind Wolverine's adamantium; Hugh Jackman leads as Logan, with Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and Brian Cox as Stryker. 20th Century Fox released it in May 2003. Red Monkey watch

Worn by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Propstore's 2016 live auction (September 2016) sold Wolverine's watch, worn "throughout the film", with a letter of authenticity from the film's prop master: "Made by Red Monkey, the watch features a chrome dial and case. The band is made of brown leather and is attached to a wide inner cuff with crisscrossed leather straps and rivet detailing." Red Monkey Designs is a Los Angeles leather studio whose cuff watches are named rather than numbered, and the essay names no model, so the maker alone is established, from the lot rather than a frame.
