A music video by Rihanna, directed by Melina Matsoukas. (IMVDb) The song was the third single from Rihanna's fourth album Rated R, released on 5 February 2010 and written with Ester Dean, Makeba Riddick, Rob Swire and the production duo Stargate; it spent five weeks at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Matsoukas shot the video in Hollywood in January 2010, building a greenscreen sequence of pop-art and Caribbean-inspired backdrops through which Rihanna moves in a succession of costumes.
