A Royal Secret (Swedish: En kunglig affär) is a Swedish drama series in four episodes, directed by Lisa James Larsson and written by Bengt Braskered, first shown by Sveriges Television in December 2021. It dramatises the Haijby affair: Sverrir Gudnason plays Kurt Haijby, the restaurateur whose claimed relationship with King Gustaf V (Staffan Göthe) became a legal and political scandal. - Worn by Sverrir Gudnason as Kurt Haijby. Haijby's watch, a present from the king in the story, is a bronze Oris Big Crown Pointer Date on a brown leather strap. Five Klocksnack members picked it out in the days after the December 2021 broadcast: Crispie asked whether it was a Big Crown, 1965ek and Sennelier agreed, and North and Curler2 noted that the series presents the watch as gold when the case is bronze. Curler2's capture from SVT Play shows the coin-edge bezel, the oversized crown, a dark red-brown dial with Arabic numerals and the pointer-date track around it. The members also flag the anachronism: the bronze Pointer Date is a current model, worn in a story that opens in the 1930s and whose subject died in 1965. No reference is legible.
