Aibou: Tokyo Detective Duo (相棒, Aibō, "Partners") is TV Asahi's flagship police procedural, following Inspector Ukyo Sugishita (Yutaka Mizutani) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Special Missions Unit through a series of rotating partners since its June 3, 2000 premiere; the franchise has run to 24 seasons and more than 450 episodes, plus six theatrical spin-off films.
