Watches
- A-11 field watch
- Worn by Damian Lewis as Richard Winters. Episode 1, "Currahee" (September 9, 2001), puts a black-dial issue field watch full-screen. On Omega Forums in June 2024 CBM1590 asked about it and then identified it as an A-11, made to the wartime specification by Elgin, Waltham and Bulova, adding that Winters's watch was a genuine A-11 and the rest of the cast wore replicas; wagudc agreed and posted his own A-11 for comparison, and TexOmega answered Bulova. In a separate thread in March 2021 egri wrote that Lewis bought an original A-11 when he was cast and was the only cast member wearing a real one. Both threads identify the A-11 specification only; no maker's signature is legible, Bulova is one member's answer, and neither post names a source for the account of Lewis's own watch.
