The syndicated lifeguard drama created by Michael Berk, Douglas Schwartz, and Gregory J. Bonann, following the lifeguards of Los Angeles County's beaches. Cancelled by NBC after a single 1989 season, it was revived for first-run syndication in 1991 and, buoyed by strong international sales, became one of the most-watched television series in the world across nine seasons and 242 episodes. David Hasselhoff anchors the cast as Lieutenant Mitch Buchannon; Pamela Anderson joined in the show's third season as lifeguard Casey Jean "C.J." Parker and became one of its defining stars. Worn by Pamela Anderson as Casey Jean "C.J." Parker. Montres de Luxe identified C. J. Parker's watch as a TAG Heuer Formula 1, naming no reference or colorway and illustrating the claim only with a promotional still that turns the watch away from camera. A clear wrist shot from the show itself, a fan-submitted screencap of the Amazon Prime Video stream, season 5 episode 12, instead shows a black dial with a cursive script logo and a scatter of colorful geometric hour markers (a green triangle, a green square, and pink and blue accents) under a wide gear-tooth two-tone bezel. The real vintage Formula 1 of this era instead carries a block "TAG HEUER" wordmark with shield-shaped hour markers and a bezel printed with tachymeter numerals, not a cursive logo or colorful shapes (OnTheDash); the frame's design instead matches Maui and Sons, the surf-apparel brand whose own "cookie logo" is exactly those four colorful shapes, paired with the same cursive "and Sons" script, on its own period watch packaging. A WatchUSeek forum thread researching this same frame reached the Maui and Sons identification independently, matching it to a same-style product listing legible as "MAUI and Sons."
