Dave is an FXX sitcom created by Dave Burd and Jeff Schaffer, loosely based on Burd's own career as the rapper Lil Dicky. A neurotic, socially awkward young white man becomes convinced he is destined to be a rap star, and sets out to convince first his friends and then the record labels that he is right. Travis Bennett plays Elz, Dave's childhood friend from Philadelphia who works as an audio engineer while chasing his own ambitions as a producer, alongside Andrew Santino and GaTa. The series premiered on 4 March 2020 and ran three seasons and 30 episodes to its May 2023 finale, with FX pausing the show indefinitely in early 2024. (IMDb; Wikipedia)
