NBC and Sky Living's ten-episode co-production from Carnival Films, broadcast from October 2013 to January 2014, recasts Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) as Alexander Grayson, an American entrepreneur who arrives in 1896 London promising wireless electric light while plotting the ruin of the Order of the Dragon, with Jessica De Gouw as Mina, Oliver Jackson-Cohen as Jonathan Harker, Thomas Kretschmann as Van Helsing and Nonso Anozie as Grayson's confidant Renfield. Worn by Nonso Anozie as Renfield. Propstore's Dracula online auction (November 2015) sold one of Renfield's pocket watches, which "as well as others like it would have been carried by Renfield throughout the series, particularly in the sixth episode as he keeps an eye on the length of time Alexander Grayson (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) stays in the sunlight during the board meeting arranged by the Order of the Dragon to expose Grayson as a vampire." It is a metal open-face watch with a white dial and Roman numerals whose back "opens up to reveal the engraved Doxa makers mark and is dated 1906", a genuine antique a decade newer than the series' 1896 setting.
