ZDF's 2014 revival of its Frankfurt legal crime series pairs the insurance lawyer Benni Hornberg (Antoine Monot Jr.) with the private investigator Leo Oswald (Wanja Mues), an old school friend back from twenty years in South America, in the lawyer-and-detective format that Claus Theo Gärtner's Josef Matula had anchored from 1981 to 2013. Novafilm produces it in and around Frankfurt am Main; the first episode aired on 9 May 2014, and ZDF has announced that the series ends after its thirteenth season in 2027. (IMDb; Wikipedia)

Worn by Henning Baum as Tom Ehlert. Baum's guest role as Tom Ehlert, the advertising creative director found stabbed in his Frankfurt flat, opens Gemeinsam einsam (season 3, episode 5, the thirteenth of the revival, first broadcast on ZDF on 18 November 2016). Two days after the broadcast an Uhrforum member posted a ZDF Mediathek frame from 9:18, Ehlert rolling a cigarette with a big steel dive watch on his left wrist, and named it as the same Omega PloProf Baum wears as Mick Brisgau in Der letzte Bulle, which members of the same thread describe as the actor's own watch.
