NBC's Portland-set procedural, created by Stephen Carpenter, David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, ran six seasons and 123 episodes from 28 October 2011 to 31 March 2017, following the homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who learns he is a Grimm able to see the Wesen creatures of the Brothers Grimm's tales behind ordinary faces, alongside his partner Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz), Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee), Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch) and the reformed Blutbad Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), a clockmaker whose trade the series keeps returning to. Lusina Triple Calendar Chronograph

Worn by Silas Weir Mitchell as Monroe. In Game Ogre (season 1, episode 8, first broadcast 13 January 2012) the watch is a clue rather than a wearer's: Nick and Hank find an antique woman's watch strapped back-to-front on the wrist of a murdered ex-convict, engraved "To Mary, Love, Mom", and take it to Monroe, who names it on sight. "Vintage Lusina," he says, then, with the case open in long close-ups, "Valjoux movement, 72C to be exact, triple calendar", explaining day, date and month to Hank and dating it to the 1930s before finding glue in the movement, put there to freeze it at a chosen time. The dialogue makes the identification; an Uhrforum member quoted it in August 2013 and matched the prop to a Lusina Valjoux 72C triple-calendar chronograph then listed on eBay. Monroe's date runs ahead of the calibre, which Valjoux introduced around 1946. The watch belongs to the assistant district attorney Mary Robinson, the killer's next target, and it is Monroe who handles it on screen. (Uhrforum; Springfield!
