Lusina Triple Calendar Chronograph
More actions
The Lusina Triple Calendar Chronograph is the Geneva firm's manual chronograph built on the Valjoux 72C, the calendar version of the column-wheel Valjoux 72 made from about 1946 to 1974 in roughly 1,300 examples: day and month in windows either side of 12, the date read by a centre pointer hand against the dial rim, a 12-hour counter at 6 beside the running seconds and 30-minute registers, all corrected by inset pushers in the case band. Lusina, the mark of Pamm Frères of Geneva registered in 1938, cased the calibre alongside the Doxa, Wittnauer and Britix 72Cs that survive in greater numbers, and its example is the watch Grimm scripts as a 1930s heirloom in Game Ogre.
