Honey and Clover (ハチミツとクローバー) is the Japanese television drama of Chica Umino's manga, shown on Fuji TV on Tuesday nights from 8 January to 18 March 2008. Riko Narumi plays the gifted art student Hagumi Hanamoto and Toma Ikuta plays Yuta Takemoto, who falls for her; Hiroki Narimiya plays the erratic senior Shinobu Morita, with Osamu Mukai as Takumi Mayama and Yutaka Matsushige and Jun Murakami among the faculty. Shohbido, the pocket-watch dealer in Kochi, records that the pocket watch Hiroki Narimiya's Shinobu Morita has in episode 4, shown on 29 January 2008, is one from its shop. The text names no maker; the dealer's illustration, set beside two frames from the episode, shows a gold-coloured open-face Aerowatch with a lozenge-patterned dial, Arabic numerals and small seconds. Worn by Toma Ikuta as Yuta Takemoto. Probable identification. The same record says the pocket watch Toma Ikuta's Yuta Takemoto receives from Morita as a Christmas present is also one from the shop. It reads as the same watch changing hands in the Christmas episode, but the dealer does not say so outright, and its single photograph shows the gold-coloured Aerowatch described above. (Shohbido)
