WOWOW's Renzoku Drama W revisits Shotaro Ishinomori's manga HOTEL three decades after its first television adaptation, resetting the venerable Hotel Platon in the present day as fierce competition and internal decay push it toward collapse. Dean Fujioka stars as Katsuaki Saegusa, a reclusive hotel-turnaround specialist nicknamed the "Phantom of Hotel Theater," brought in to rebuild the property over the objections of staff unsettled by his ruthless methods and the secret he is keeping.
