Hotel is an ABC primetime soap produced by Aaron Spelling and developed by John Furia Jr. and Barry Oringer, adapted from Arthur Hailey's 1965 novel. James Brolin stars as Peter McDermott, general manager of San Francisco's fictional St. Gregory hotel, opposite Connie Sellecca and Anne Baxter, following the guests and staff through 114 episodes over five seasons from 21 September 1983 to 5 May 1988.
