News Anchor is a Japanese TBS drama, directed by Kato Akiko among others, that streams internationally on Netflix. Hiroshi Abe stars as Soichi Shindo, a journalist promoted to lead anchor of the struggling news program "News Gate," who pushes past conventional limits to investigate and expose buried truths, alongside Mei Nagano and Shunsuke Michieda.
