The Otsuka Lotec No. 7.5 is a 40 mm stainless steel wristwatch from Tokyo independent watchmaker Otsuka Lotec, built around Jiro Katayama's industrial, camera-inspired design language: a custom fisheye lens covers the jumping-hour display at nine o'clock, a rotating disc reads the minutes at three, and a small seconds sits at six, all set into a case whose three round windows echo a camera's controls. The automatic Miyota 82S5 movement runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve inside a 316L steel case finished with straight-grained and sandblasted surfaces, a sapphire crystal front and back, and 30 m water resistance.
