Nile Perch Girls' Association (ナイルパーチの女子会) is a 2021 Japanese television drama adapting Asako Yuzuki's award-winning 2015 novel of the same name, which won the Yamamoto Shugoro Prize and was a Naoki Prize finalist. Asami Mizukawa stars as Eriko Shimura, a high-earning trading-company employee whose sudden, all-consuming friendship with stay-at-home blogger Shoko Maruo (Maho Yamada) curdles into obsession and psychological unraveling; the title refers to the invasive, cannibalistic fish the novel uses as a metaphor for the women's relationship. Yusuke Taki directed the eight-episode run, which BS TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo 4K broadcast in the Saturday Drama 9 slot from 30 January to 20 March 2021.
