Saihara the Loan Shark (闇金ウシジマくん外伝 闇金サイハラさん) is a 2022 Japanese drama, a spin-off of the Ushijima the Loan Shark television series directed by Masatoshi Yamaguchi and Yosuke Toki. It streamed in advance on dTV and Netflix from 13 September 2022 and ran in the Dramaism late-night slot on MBS and TBS from 20 September. Mary Jun Takahashi plays Akane Saihara, who runs the illegal lender Rhino Loan, and Ken Mitsuishi plays Kumakura, the yakuza who took her in. Worn by Ken Mitsuishi as Kumakura. Housekihiroba, the Shibuya dealer that lent the watch, announced before the series began streaming that Ken Mitsuishi would wear a Rolex Datejust it lists as 16233G: the two-tone 36 mm reference, steel with a yellow gold fluted bezel, the "G" being the Japanese trade's suffix for a dial with ten diamond hour markers. The piece shown on the dealer's loan card is, by its own listing, a 1994 example with a champagne dial. Mitsuishi plays Kumakura, the yakuza who took Saihara in; the dealer names no episode.
