Ken Mitsuishi (born 26 September 1961 in Fukuoka) is a Japanese character actor who debuted in 1978 and has since appeared in more than 140 films, becoming one of Japanese cinema's most reliable supporting players. He appears in Takashi Miike's 13 Assassins (2010) and Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line (1998), plays the Governor of Tokyo in Shin Godzilla (2016), and is known for his unsettling turn in Audition (1999). He plays detective Toru Kaneko in the WOWOW series Cold Case 2. (IMDb)
