Senna is a six-episode Brazilian biographical miniseries created and co-directed by Vicente Amorim for Netflix, released on 29 November 2024, thirty years after the driver's death at Imola. Gabriel Leone plays Ayrton Senna from his karting years through three world championships to the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, with Marco Ricca as his father Milton, Kaya Scodelario as the reporter Laura Harrison, Hugo Bonemer as Nelson Piquet and Patrick Kennedy as Ron Dennis. Worn by Gabriel Leone as Ayrton Senna. Leone's Senna wears the S/el chronograph, the watch the real driver made his signature daily piece from 1988 until 1993. TAG Heuer's magazine names it as the S/EL Link Chronograph S25.706C with a gold bezel on a tan leather strap, and Biebuyck told British GQ the brand had "a good stock of the celebrated High-Tech S/EL Chronograph models in both the champagne and anthracite dial variations" for the production, calling it the most important watch to get right; the cast around Senna were dressed from the same 1987 line.
