Shitsuren Karuta (失恋カルタ, "Heartbreak Karuta") is an eight-episode drama in MBS's late-night Dramaism block, airing Tuesdays into Wednesday from 1 April to 20 May 2026 on MBS and TBS. It adapts a karuta card set of the same name, verses by comedian and Akutagawa Prize-winning author Naoki Matayoshi paired with illustrations by Misaki Tanaka, each card built around a small, specific heartbreak. Minami Umezawa, Takumi Nishigaki, and Konatsu Kato lead as three friends from a university board-game circle who keep circling back to their own unresolved romantic history. Yuki Tokito appears in the cast; Jackroad's costume-loan archive credits him with wearing a Seiko Bell-Matic on screen, though the episode and character have not yet been confirmed against a broadcast source.
