In Shooter, decorated marksman Bob Lee Swagger is drawn out of seclusion to assess a threat against the president, only to discover that the assignment was designed to frame him. The television adaptation gives Ryan Phillippe's Swagger the same mixture of fieldcraft, suspicion and institutional betrayal that drives the source novels. (IMDb)
Watches
- Suunto Core Alu Deep Black
- Worn by Ryan Phillippe as Bob Lee Swagger. In season one's “Overwatch,” the Afghanistan-flashback tent scene shows Swagger holding a rifle while speaking with Johnson. His watch is exposed on the supporting wrist, with a broad black round bezel and digital display. The scene establishes its military-costume use, but the Alu Deep Black finish name is not readable from the dial. (scene frame)
