The Exchange

Netflix's first Kuwaiti original series, directed by Jasem Al-Muhanna and Karim Elshenawy and drawing on real events surrounding Kuwait's Souk Al-Manakh stock market. Set in 1980s Kuwait, it follows a divorcee and a single woman who set out to break into the male-dominated stock exchange, against the backdrop of the exchange's real 1982 crash. Rawan Mahdi and Mona Hussain lead the cast; Hussain Al-Mahdi plays Saud. The six-episode first season premiered on Netflix on 8 February 2023. (IMDb)
