When Heroes Fly is an Israeli drama, adapted from Amir Gutfreund's novel of the same name, in which four Israeli Special Forces veterans of the 2006 Lebanon War reunite eleven years later for one more mission: rescuing Yaeli (Ninet Tayeb), the sister of one of their own long believed dead, from a drug cartel deep in the Colombian jungle.
