Bohemia Interactive's debut military simulator, published by Codemasters for Windows in 2001 and the founding work of what became the Arma series. Set in 1985 on the fictional islands of Everon, Malden and Kolgujev, it staged a NATO-Soviet flashpoint with then-unmatched scale and simulation depth; the always-available watch, summoned on the HUD with a keypress, was the player's field clock. Bohemia later rereleased the game under its own rights as ArmA: Cold War Assault in 2011 after the trademark split with Codemasters. (Wikipedia)

- The game's iconic watch is drawn under the in-fiction brand "KOSEI", a clearly-derived look-alike of a Seiko diver rather than a licensed placement: a real-adjacent appearance of the real watch. The design source is developer-confirmed: Bohemia Interactive designer Karel Mořický's 2024 retrospective calls it "Operation Flashpoint's iconic KOSEI watch. Inspired by the Japanese SEIKO Diver with a blue and red 'Pepsi' bezel (model number 6309-729A)", and Mořický bought the real 6309 at auction. The Pepsi bezel is visible in the low-resolution HUD art, but the 6309-729A reference itself rests on the developer statement, not on anything the 2001 rendering can resolve.
