Shenmue
Sega's Shenmue follows Ryo Hazuki through Yokosuka as he investigates his father's murder, using an unusually detailed daily routine and explorable city to turn detective work into lived time. The original Dreamcast release made that passage of time literal on Ryo's Timex; later ports changed licensed brands whose agreements had covered only the original platform. (Vandal)

- Timex Indiglo
- Worn by Corey Marshall as Ryo Hazuki. A Timex sponsorship put a Timex on Ryo's wrist in the original Dreamcast release; Vandal names Timex among the brands licensed only for that platform, and later ports changed those licensed brands. The glowing Indiglo branding is read from the game's own frame, not from the source. (Vandal)
