The Audemars Piguet Quantième Perpétuel is the ultra-thin perpetual calendar built on Calibre 2120/1, one of the thinnest full-rotor automatic bases ever made carrying a perpetual-calendar module. The 1980s yellow-gold execution, roughly 36 mm, has a white lacquer dial with a day subdial, month track, date and moonphase, correcting for uneven months and leap years unattended until 2100. It is the quietest kind of wealth, which is why it lands on the contemptuous television executive Frank Cross in Scrooged (1988), where a later scene shows the calendar set to 23 November for a story dated 23 December. Sources split on the exact reference: WatchReel reads it as the 25657BA, Perpetual Passion as a ref. 5548, and the frame does not resolve the number. (WatchReel, BAMF Style, Perpetual Passion)
