Bill Murray, born in 1950, is an American actor and comedian known for his deadpan delivery across studio comedies and independent dramas. A Saturday Night Live cast member from 1977 to 1980, he starred in Caddyshack, Stripes, Groundhog Day, and Scrooged, and received an Academy Award nomination.
