Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Madcow Titanium
More actions
The Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Madcow Titanium (reference DM1036A) is a 42 mm diver-cased tool watch built around the Engineer Hydrocarbon line's signature party trick: an ETA 2836-2 automatic movement whose lubricants keep it running at temperatures down to -40°C. Its satin titanium case adds a unidirectional bezel, a screw-down crown, 32 self-powered micro gas tubes lighting the hands and black sunburst dial, 300 metres of water resistance, 12,000 A/m antimagnetic shielding and a 7,500Gs shock rating. (RightTime.com) The reference is named for John "Mad Cow" Hembel, the first American skier to break 150 mph, whose engraved signature decorates the titanium caseback; Ball sold it in black-dial (DM1036A-SAJ-BK) and white-dial (DM1036A-SAJ-WH) executions before discontinuing the line.
