The CWC SBS is the black-cased quartz diver that Cabot Watch Company developed in 1987 to a Ministry of Defence requirement for the United Kingdom's Special Boat Service, and which CWC says has been in service with the unit ever since. The current watch has a black PVD case about 41 mm across, a 120-click bezel, sapphire glass, fixed strap bars, a screw-down crown and case back and a 300 m rating. CWC sells it with day and date as the issue watch and in a version without. Its account of Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre puts "the CWC SBS" on Peter Ferdinando's Mike without saying which. (CWC; CWC no-date version; CWC on Operation Fortune)
