Its red case and dial recall Mario's palette against the game's overworld blue, with gold coin accents, a glass-printed Koopa Troopa shell at the dial's bottom, and an EL backlight that lights up "Mario" for a 1-UP; the band carries an all-over 8-bit Mario print, and it ships in a red box illustrated with the game's opening screen and Mario's "Here we go!" catchphrase in pixel type.
