More actions
The Casio G-Shock DW-6900FS Akira Kaneda is a licensed collaboration marking the 30th anniversary of Akira, released April 30, 2013 through Japan's LaLaBit Market, limited to 1,000 pieces at ¥19,800 and developed under Katsuhiro Otomo's own supervision. The DW-6900FS case is finished in glossy metallic red evoking Kaneda's biker jacket; the EL backlight lights up with the Capsules gang's pill-shaped emblem, and the case back is engraved with the Harukiya bar, the gang's hangout. The strap carries the gang's "GOOD FOR HEALTH BAD FOR EDUCATION" slogan and a barcode reproducing Kaneda's driver's license number. It is associated merchandise produced under license; the watch does not appear on screen. (50 Gs, G-Bridges)
