The Casio G-Shock GW-9400-1 RANGEMAN is the black execution of the GW-9400, the Land model in Casio's Master of G range, dated to October 2013 on module 3410. A 200 m resin case carries Tough Solar charging, Multi-Band 6 radio setting and a Triple Sensor reading altitude, barometric pressure with a 42-hour tendency graph, direction and temperature. The sensor button at centre right, the one Casio expects to be worked hardest, sits under a metal cover that takes lateral impact and keeps grit out of the shaft. (Casio) The module covers both launch colourways, and the difference is not only the resin: this one has a positive display, dark figures on a pale field, while the olive GW-9400-3, released the same day, reverses the polarity.
