The Casio G-Shock Mudmaster is the land line of Casio's Master of G range, launched in 2015 with the GWG-1000 and built to keep out what gets into a watch rather than what hits it: Casio describes a dust- and mud-proof structure with gaskets built into every button and shaft, plus a vibration-resistant construction for use around heavy equipment, on top of the usual shock rating. (Casio; G-Central) The Triple Sensor, Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6 GWG-1000 was joined in April 2016 by the GG-1000, a smaller and lighter battery-powered Twin Sensor model that keeps the compass and thermometer and drops the altimeter-barometer, solar charging and radio timekeeping; the pictured example is the tan-banded GG-1000-1A5.
