The Casio Wave Ceptor WV58DA-1AV is the metal-bracelet version of Casio's entry-level radio-controlled digital, sold through the mid-2000s. Its rectangular LCD sits in a 51.5 × 42.0 × 11.0 mm case weighing 97 g and rated to 50 m, and the module wakes up to six times a day to listen for the 60 kHz time signals broadcast from Fort Collins, Colorado and Anthorn, England, correcting itself without any input from the wearer. Around that self-setting core sit world time across 29 zones and 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a daily alarm and an auto-calendar programmed to 2099, all drawing about two years from a CR1620. It put atomic-clock accuracy on a drugstore shelf. (Newegg)
