Jaume Collet-Serra directed this 2014 Universal Pictures thriller, his second film with Liam Neeson after Unknown (Wikipedia). Neeson plays Bill Marks, an alcoholic ex-NYPD officer working as a federal air marshal, who begins receiving texts on a transatlantic flight demanding $150 million to an offshore account and promising a death every twenty minutes until it arrives; the whole picture then plays out inside the cabin as the ground authorities conclude Marks is the hijacker. Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, Scoot McNairy, Corey Stoll, Nate Parker, Anson Mount and Lupita Nyong'o make up the passenger and crew list (Wikipedia).
