The Chopard Imperiale is the maison's dress-watch line for women, launched in 1994 and named for the lotus flower rather than any single empire: the curved, petal-shaped crown and dial layout both take their form from the bloom, which Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele has described as opening and closing with the sun. Cases run in 18-karat rose gold, often paired with a diamond-set bezel and lugs, over dials that range from plain silvered faces to mother-of-pearl centres under Roman numerals, on both quartz and self-winding movements across a wide span of sizes.
