A Concord watch is a watch from the company founded in Biel in 1908 to serve the American market and bought in 1970 by the North American Watch Company, the forerunner of the Movado Group that owns it today. From the late 1970s to the late 1980s it sold luxury quartz at prices above a basic Rolex, led by the 1.98 mm Delirium of 1979 and the Concord Centurion. (Wikipedia) That thin, expensive, quietly flashy watch is the one Andrew Vachss puts on Burke in Blossom, described only as thin and gray with tiny gold dots on the band.
