Detective Dick Tracy's signature two-way wrist radio, the gadget the character has carried in Chester Gould's comic strip since 1946, recreated as a screen prop for the 1990 film starring Warren Beatty. Bonhams auctioned a screen-used example in its 2018 "TCM Presents ... A Celebration of Robert Osborne" sale: a stainless steel case with a pearlized, Arabic-numeral watch face set beside a gilt metal mesh speaker grille, two knobs on the right edge, worn on a navy crocodile strap with a gilt buckle. Bonhams' own photography shows the dial printed "Swiss Movt"; the radio function is a non-working prop. (Bonhams)
