The Epson Smart Canvas Gudetama (model W1-GT10110) is a licensed electronic-paper wristwatch Epson announced July 22, 2016, and released six days later at ¥19,000 before tax, credited to Sanrio's character Gudetama directly. Its rectangular case holds an active-matrix e-paper display rather than hands, showing grayscale line art of Gudetama in different scenes depending on the selected mode; a comic-style illustration shows a chopstick poking the reclining egg awake with the caption "12じです、やめてください" ("It's 12 o'clock, please stop") as it marks each hour. A dedicated "doesn't want to be rushed by time" mode lets Gudetama hide the time display altogether. Its white silicone strap is printed with a wraparound line-art pattern of Gudetama's shell pieces.
