Photo: eBay (representative small-seconds/date execution)
The Franck Muller 7880 names the large Cintrée Curvex tonneau case used for several distinct movements. A platinum minute-repeating tourbillon, reference 7880 RM T, is documented from circa 2005 with its Franck Muller certificate of origin. (Christie's) Other executions include a plain three-hand-and-date model, the 7880 CC AT chronograph, the Master Banker and Secret Hours. Xbiao names only the bare "Ref.7880" for Satoshi Tsumabuki's character Noda Hiroshi in Detective Chinatown 3 (2021), treating it as a nod to the brand's popularity in Japan rather than identifying a specific complication.
