Satoshi Tsumabuki is a Japanese actor and musician, born December 13, 1980, who has worked steadily in film and television since 1998. His breakthrough came with Waterboys (2001), which earned him a Japan Academy Award nomination and the ceremony's Newcomer of the Year prize, and he won the Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in 2023; he also performs as bassist and singer for the band Basking Lite. He stars as tax accountant Eiji Kurisu, drawn into the world of horse racing, in Passing the Reins. (Wikipedia)
