The Grand Seiko Quartz SBGV005 is a 40 mm steel Heritage Collection dress watch built around Grand Seiko's caliber 9F82, a high-torque quartz movement engineered to drive the brand's oversized, sharply faceted "Zaratsu"-polished hands without the drag that slows a conventional quartz motor. The caliber holds ±10 seconds a year and backs up its second hand with an instant-return-to-zero function. Grand Seiko introduced the reference in 2014 and has since discontinued it.
