The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38 is the 38 mm hand-wound member of the Khaki Field line, built around plain triangular indexes and a stacked 12/24-hour track that trace to the Vietnam-era field watches Hamilton supplied under spec MIL-W-46374. Hamilton has sold hand-wound 38 mm Khaki Fields across more than one generation, most recently as the H-50-caliber reissue introduced in 2018. Hamilton's own historical film-credit page, archived in 2011, places this watch on Val Kilmer in Spartan (2004), which predates the 2018 relaunch, so an earlier hand-wound execution of the same name and case size is the more likely candidate; no specific reference is given. The same entry names "Gene Hackmann," but Hackman does not appear in Spartan (2004), an apparent table error.
