Heuer Autavia 1163 MH
More actions
The Heuer Autavia 1163 MH is an execution of Heuer's third-generation Autavia built on Calibre 11, the automatic chronograph movement Heuer co-developed with Breitling, Büren and Dubois-Dépraz and introduced in 1969. It is a two-register automatic chronograph with a black dial, white registers, and a date window at six o'clock; unlike the tachymeter-bezel 1163T "Siffert," its rotating bezel shows hours and minutes rather than elapsed speed. OnTheDash's reference guide catalogs five successive dial marks distinguished by hour-recorder numerals, accent color, marker style and the shape of the "V" in "Autavia." (OnTheDash) A r/Watches identification thread first proposed the tachymeter "Viceroy" execution for a vintage Heuer worn in Magic, before a second commenter corrected it to the 1163 MH by comparing the visible dive-style bezel against OnTheDash's reference photos.
