The Heuer Autavia 1163 T is the tachymeter-bezel ("T") reference of Heuer's third-generation Autavia, a 42mm cushion-cased automatic chronograph built on Calibre 11, one of the world's first automatic chronograph movements, developed by a Heuer-led consortium with Breitling, Büren and Dubois-Dépraz and introduced in 1969. Its white panda dial with black registers and blue accents became known among collectors as the "Siffert," after Swiss Formula One and endurance racer Jo Siffert, whom Heuer sponsored and who wore the reference on his own wrist.
