The INDEPENDENT Banana Fish Ash Lynx Model is a collaboration between Citizen's INDEPENDENT brand and the Banana Fish anime, sold through AMNIBUS. Its dark-silver case and dial evoke a New York City skyline silhouette, with a green stone at the 12 o'clock hour marker referencing Ash's full name, Aslan Jade Callenreese: "jade" for the stone, "Aslan" evoking dawn. The caseback, unseen when worn, engraves the INDEPENDENT logo, Ash's birthday and name, and an English translation of Eiji's line explaining why he was given that name. Citizen's solar quartz E111 movement is daily water resistant. Licensed merchandise, inspired by the watch Ash carries in the anime's final episode rather than a screen-accurate replica. (AMNIBUS)
