The INDEPENDENT Mobile Suit Gundam Zeon Watch 40th Anniversary Char Model KL8-449-91 is one of two "ZEON WATCH" models Rhythm Watch Co. released in May 2019 under Citizen's INDEPENDENT fashion brand to mark 40 years of Mobile Suit Gundam. Its red dial, styled on the "Red Comet" Char Aznable, carries a gold Char mark below center, and a gold cube-shaped crown sits against a black-plated 42.0 by 12.4 mm steel case and bracelet; the caseback is engraved with the Zeon mark. The Solartech solar radio-controlled movement adds a perpetual calendar and 10 bar water resistance. Premium Bandai took preorders from February 13 to March 13, 2019 at ¥54,000.
