The IWC Ingenieur Jumbo 3303, formally the Ingenieur SL Quartz, is the slimmed-down late run of Gerald Genta's integrated-bracelet Ingenieur SL, sold from 1980 to 1985. At 40 mm across a 30 mm dial and just 8.7 mm thick, it retains the bold case and bracelet of the original 1976 Jumbo while trading the earlier automatic movement for the battery-powered calibre 2250, a change that let IWC pare the case down considerably. The black dial's checkerboard guilloché pattern, sword hands, and simple bar markers echo Genta's original design, with a date window at three and the "INGENIEUR SL" signature above six.
