NHK's Drama 10 adaptation of Takeshi Natsuhara and Mitsuhiro Mizuno's manga, illustrated by Akira Otani, follows top-selling real-estate agent Saichi Nagase (Tomohisa Yamashita), who lies fluently to close deals until he disturbs a roadside shrine during a groundbreaking ceremony and is cursed to lose his ability to lie. Hayato Ichihara plays Takahisa Kiriyama, a colleague at Nagase's agency. The first season ran ten episodes from April 5 to June 7, 2022, on NHK General TV. A second season followed from January 9 to March 12, 2024, introducing Katsunori Takahashi as Masato Ikaruga, the ruthless president of rival agency Minerva Real Estate, and Dean Fujioka as Ryoma Kamiki, a former Nagase colleague who defects to Minerva and rises to its top salesman.
